Bernhard Sanders is a bookbinder and designer.
He learned the trade from the old masters of his region and in numerous courses at the centro del bel libro.  He made an apprenticeship as a saddler, leather goods producer and bag-maker.

Current Position
He owns a bookbindery in Tirol. With his 3 – 5 employees, he offers the complete range of classical bookbinding works. The focus is on leather processing, presentation technology, special works and the conception, design and execution of creative binding techniques. In 2016, he opened his own belt workshop. He uses the resulting knowledge in dealing with leather in his bookbinding work, developing new full leather techniques.

Bernhard Sanders regularly supports book desingers with competent suggestions. He is an active member of the WEISRAUM, Designforum Tirol and teaches at the GBS School for Design in St. Gallen, Switzerland, the FH Dornbirn and the course for Diplomated Designers, specialization communication design, consolidation in visual design.
