Current position
Own coloured paper studio.
Since 1989 she has been producing serial coloured papers in the tradition of handcrafted coloured paper making since the early 17th century.

Area of Speciality
Susanne Krause specialises in paste paper, speckled paper and trickle paper in traditional techniques for the conservation and restoration of library materials as well as for furniture restoration, bookbinding and book art.

Further information
She also works as a specialist author, course tutor, lecturer and consultant. Her publishing house exclusively publishes specialised and non-fiction books on coloured paper, more recently in cooperation with Hauswedell Verlag, Stuttgart.
