1988 – 1990 Studies at the London College of Printing
1990 – 2001 Book restorer and teacher in the United States
1996 He helped found the bookbinding program at the San Francisco Center for the Book, where he continues to teach each summer
Current Position
Since 2001, Dominic has created over sixty design bindings for collectors and exhibitions. His prize-winning bindings are in collections world-wide, including the British Library, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Grolier Club in New York, the San Francisco Public Library and the Bodleian Library in Oxford.
Further Information
He was elected Fellow of Designer Bookbinders in 2008.
In 2013, he won first prize – the Sir Paul Getty award – in the International Bookbinding competition.
He serves as President of the Society of Bookbinders.
