Current Position
Since 2014, Veronika lives and works in Karlsruhe.
She is undoubtedly one of the protagonists of the contemporary artist books. In her works, boundaries are blurred. The sophisticated text stagings can neither be described as illustrated, nor as typographic books but can best be characterized as visual creations.

Further Information
Schäpers‘ works are unusual, none of her books are similar to the others. They are completely different in style, technique and material. The choice of the texts and the materials used, are influenced by Veronika’s longtime adopted country Japan.
