The Book Art of Collaboration

Just as with any artwork, the book as an object is capable of expression, provided there is a cohesive relationship between book-binder and the book’s contents. This course will focus on the collaboration between each book-binder and the work of author/artist Phil Day. Each collaboration will result in a book that is a unique response to the original lithographs (specifically composed as leaves to be stitched and bound for this course) by Phil Day.
Each participant will own the copy which they have stitched and bound. The book is limited to an edition of 12 copies.
