Christiane Grimm-Angelrath

Professional training, career
Training in socio-cultural animation at the JAA Lucerne, diploma examination in 1986.
During her many years of work at the Grimm bookbindery in Twann and Schafis from 1992
until today, she often took the opportunity for further training in the field of paper. Courses
with Hedi Kyle and Suzanne Schmollgruber and contacts with other papermakers provided
nspiration and professional skills for her own work.

Area of Speciality
Working with paper aroused her interest in origami at an early age and she observes the
worldwide development of this traditional craft with great interest.
She has an own course programme for private individuals and teachers.

Further information
In the 2nd paper education course at the Ballenberg Course Centre, she taught the weeks
"Packaging, boxes, objects" in 2020 and "Folding, creasing, scribing - Leporello shapes"
in 2021.                  
At the international Origami conferences, as well as during her collaboration at the annual
Origami didactics conference, she has the opportunity to exchange ideas with authors and
teachers.
