Jacek Tylkowski

Professional training, career
Jacek was trained in the J&J Book Art Studio by Czech master bookbinder Jan Sobota and has over 20 years of experience in bookbinding.
From 2006 to 2008 he learnt the style and techniques of the Belgian bookbinder Edgard Claes with a group of Czech bookbinders.

Current position
Since 1991, own bookbinding studio in Komorniki.

Area of Speciality
High-quality one-off productions and small series for which he combines modern bookbinding techniques with contemporary design approaches. He devotes most of his professional time to the production of beautiful editions.

Further information
In his spare time he keeps up to date with current trends and new solutions in modern bookbinding. He likes simple, minimalist designs and believes that less is more.
